Account information: your email address and authentication details, managed by our auth provider (Supabase). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Content you provide: your base resume, job descriptions you paste, and the tailored resumes and cover letters we generate for you. These are stored in your account so you can revisit them in your History.
Billing information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — we only keep a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription.
To provide the service: your resume and job description are sent to OpenAI's API to generate your tailored documents. We use API settings under which OpenAI does not use your inputs to train its models.
To store your work: generated applications are saved to your account so you can view, copy, download, or delete them at any time.
To run your subscription: we use Stripe webhooks to keep your plan status in sync.
We never sell your data, and we never share your resume content with third parties beyond the processors named above (Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe).
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security, meaning your records are only accessible to your authenticated account.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We use passwordless authentication (magic links and Google OAuth), so there is no ResumeFire password to be stolen.
You can delete any saved application from your History page at any time — deletion is immediate and permanent.
To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at hello@resumefire.io and we'll process the request within 7 days.
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app before they take effect.
